The most important characteristic feature in the cultivation technology of the Sprint NATURA product line is the implementation of safe plant protection! The greatest challenge of arable farming is how to protect the cultivated crops from pathogens and animal pests.

In order to produce healthy and safe food, we have limited the usability of the available, permitted pesticides to make the manufacturing of Natura products subject to a higher level of cultivation technology in line with the existing legal regulations.

We have tested the officially approved, available pesticides in case of each plant species and we have selected the products with the shortest pre-harvest intervals – fastest degradable chemicals. The pre-harvest interval refers to the amount of minimum time that must lapse after a pesticide application before the plant is harvested. In this regard we have increased the pre-harvest interval in case of Natura products.

 An important element of the plant protection strategy is prevention, this way we can be successful and protect the cultivated plants with targeted interventions before the development of the damage picture, and with less chemicals used each time. To do this, it is indispensable to continuously monitor the swarming dynamics of pests, the changing of weather conditions as well as the conditions of the site. The smaller health risks and the use of organic products is also an objective in the production.
